How Poqua handles your information.
This policy explains what information the current version of Poqua uses and why. Poqua does not sell your personal information.
Effective October 1, 2026
Game data
The current version stores aquarium progress, preferences and widget state locally on your device. The app and its Home Screen widget share this data through an Apple App Group container. Poqua does not currently provide cloud accounts or cross-device save sync.
Purchases
In-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Poqua receives the StoreKit transaction information needed to verify a purchase and deliver the purchased item or currency. Poqua does not receive your payment card details.
Notifications
If you enable care reminders, Poqua schedules notifications locally on your device. You can turn them off in Poqua’s Settings or in the system Settings app.
Issue reports and support
If you choose Report an Issue, Poqua prepares an email containing the description you enter, app and device details, and optional Apple diagnostics. Nothing is sent until you review the email and choose Send. Save data and fish names are not attached automatically.
This website
poqua.app uses first-party analytics to understand page visits, scroll-depth milestones and where visitors tap or click on a page. The analytics dataset does not store cookies, IP addresses, user-agent strings, form contents or persistent user identifiers. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, Poqua does not send these analytics events. If you pick a light or dark appearance, that choice is saved in your browser’s local storage and never leaves your device. Cloudflare processes standard request information, such as IP addresses, to deliver and protect the site.
Data retention
Locally stored game data remains on your device until you reset it or it is removed by you or by the operating system. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to respond to and resolve your request.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. We’ll update it before adding features that change how information is handled, such as sign-in, cloud saves or advertising. For privacy questions, contact support@poqua.app.
